Human dental insurance is a very good provider as far as insurance goes. I have been using them for about one year now and have little to no complaints about the service or benefits being offered. My only real issue that I have with them is that my dentist is not one of their preferred providers. Not sure if that is their doing or his. This is unfortunate, because if I have work done outside of my every six-month check-up I run the risk of having to pay more for his services, since he is not in network. So far the amounts that I have had to be responsible for have not been much or similar to that if I had things done at another location that was in network. He has agreed thankfully to work with the insurance company and myself to help me avoid these additional costs. This has been a true money saver for me since I have a large family of 6 that are all of an age where they go to the dentist regularly. This is also great for me as I was dreading finding another dentist that I liked, even though upon perusing the companies website for another demist there were several option, I really like the one that I am with and am happy that everyone is cooperating in making things work for me and my family.
I do find that their internet site is very easy to navigate and have found it very useful in finding information regarding coverage of my plan as well as what Humana dental insurance has covered for me. Since I am working out of network it is a huge benefit to be able to access this information from someplace other than my home or to have to carry paper records around and view them when I have a chance.
Although the Internet is nice for some things it is also nice that I have the option to call on the phone for information. I have had to do this on a few of occasions and have been very satisfied with the service that the operators have provided. The operators working with Humana Dental insurance are very knowledge and courteous. I have called other companies like this in the past and have had extremely rude service from their operators. This company provides its customers with excellent customer service and is a credit to their industry for doing so.
